Jourivo is a product of XWave Technologies Pte. Ltd. (UEN: 202614792M), a company incorporated in Singapore.
References to "Jourivo", "we", "us", or "our" in these documents refer to XWave Technologies Pte. Ltd.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Jourivo, we may collect the following information:

Account information — name, email address, and Google account profile when you sign in
Trip data — destinations, travel dates, preferences, and saved itineraries you create
Usage data — how many itineraries you generate, features you use, and general interaction patterns
Device and browser information — browser type, operating system, IP address, and timezone
Cookies and session data — for keeping you signed in and remembering your preferences

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to operate and improve Jourivo:

Create and manage your account
Generate personalised travel itineraries
Save and sync your trips across sessions
Remember your preferences (currency, pace, travel style)
Enforce fair usage limits and prevent abuse
Respond to support requests
Improve the quality of our AI planning

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Google Authentication

When you sign in with Google, we only request the minimum permissions needed to create your account:

Your name and email address
Your Google profile photo (for display purposes)

We do not access, read, or store data from:

Gmail or email content
Google Drive, Docs, or Calendar
Google Contacts or Photos
Any other Google service

4. AI-Generated Content

Important: When you generate an itinerary, your destination, travel preferences, and trip parameters are sent to Anthropic's AI API to produce your plan. This data is processed by Anthropic in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not store the raw prompts sent to the AI beyond what is necessary for generation.

5. Shared Itineraries

When you share an itinerary using a share link:

The itinerary becomes viewable by anyone with the link
No personal account information is attached to shared itineraries
You can stop sharing at any time by deleting the itinerary from your account

6. Data Storage and Infrastructure

Your data is stored and processed using the following third-party infrastructure:

Supabase (Singapore region) — authentication, database, and user data storage
Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and API proxy (rate limiting, security)
Anthropic — AI itinerary generation (trip parameters only)
Google — authentication and Places API (for photos and airport validation)

Jourivo is operated from Singapore. If you are located outside Singapore, your data may be transferred to and processed in Singapore and other countries where our infrastructure providers operate.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

Maintaining your login session
Remembering your trip preferences
Basic analytics via Cloudflare (aggregated, anonymised traffic data only)

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account and trip data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
Portability — export your saved itineraries at any time

10. Children's Privacy

Jourivo is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of Jourivo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Singapore PDPA Compliance

XWave Technologies Pte. Ltd. complies with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). We have designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsible for ensuring compliance with the PDPA.

By accessing or using Jourivo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Jourivo.

2. The Service

Jourivo is an AI-powered travel itinerary planning tool. The Service provides AI-generated travel suggestions, itinerary planning, save and share functionality, and related tools to help users plan trips.

The Service is provided on a free and paid basis. Free accounts are subject to usage limits, which we may adjust at any time with reasonable notice.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important — Please Read: All itineraries generated by Jourivo are created by artificial intelligence and are provided for informational and planning purposes only. They are not professional travel advice.

Specifically, Jourivo makes no guarantee that:

Restaurants, attractions, or venues are open on the days or times suggested
Prices, admission fees, or operating hours are current or accurate
Recommended places are accessible given weather, seasonality, or local conditions
Travel times between stops are accurate for all transport modes or traffic conditions
Any specific place, experience, or service will meet your expectations

You are solely responsible for verifying all information before making bookings or travel decisions. Always confirm opening hours, availability, and entry requirements directly with venues before visiting.

4. User Responsibilities

When using Jourivo, you agree to:

Provide accurate information when creating your account
Use the Service for lawful, personal travel planning purposes only
Not attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access restrictions
Not use automated tools to scrape, copy, or reproduce the Service at scale
Not misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
Not use the Service in any way that could harm Jourivo, its infrastructure, or other users

5. External Bookings and Third-Party Links

Jourivo may display links to external booking platforms, hotels, activities, and services. These are provided as a convenience only.

Jourivo is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any external website or service
Any transactions you make with third parties are solely between you and that provider
Jourivo does not guarantee the quality, safety, or suitability of any third-party service
Travel insurance, visa requirements, and health requirements are your responsibility to verify

6. Intellectual Property

The Jourivo platform, including its design, AI prompting logic, branding, and software, is owned by XWave Technologies Pte. Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

You retain ownership of your personal trip data. By saving itineraries to Jourivo, you grant us a limited licence to store and display that data to you and to anyone you share it with.

7. Usage Limits and Fair Use

Free accounts are subject to daily generation limits. We reserve the right to:

Modify usage limits with reasonable notice
Suspend or throttle accounts that exceed fair use thresholds
Terminate accounts engaged in abuse, automated scraping, or policy violations

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or misuse the Service. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Jourivo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, XWave Technologies Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Jourivo, including but not limited to missed flights, booking errors, venue closures, or travel disruption arising from reliance on AI-generated itineraries.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
